AVOID

Absolutely atrocious service. They damage furniture and offer no assistance. They are incompetent, unreliable, slow and don’t know what they are doing. A complete scammer company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Poor customer service and unacknowledged damages

To start I had asked for a 10am sharp start which they committed to but only arrived at 11am.

They initially indicated it would be a four hour job but ended up being a seven hour job which I was fine with but the part I was not fine with was they added a $150 travelling cost as the driveway to building entrance was more than 50m. This was not previously mentioned.

Fridge was dented and scratched and two chairs had broken legs. The company refused to pay compensation and kept insisting that they were existing damages.

I will never use them again and caution anyone planning on using their service.

All these reviews are fake im the owner of cbdremovals slight difference in name CBDMOVERS are a different company ? and yes they even have faked this listing on me cant seem to get this out there just look up cbdmovers scam

Would prefer to give zero stars

I booked a 4 hour service to be

picked up between 10-2pm on Monday.

The movers arrived at 4pm.

They only worked 2 hours, doing half the job, as they were tired.

Stopped work at 6pm.

I paid them in full for the time they worked.

They said they would come back at 7:30 the next morning to finish the job.

They did not.

I called at 7:39 am and was told they would now come at 11-12

They did not.

I called again at 12:30 to now be told they would come at 2:45pm

This is when I was told, as I was getting very upset, that they would not charge for the rest of the job, I was only to pay a $60 call out fee.

I was ready to cancel and book another mover, but was pleased for the offer.

Again the movers did not come.

I called again at 3:14 and was told they were on their way.

They were not.

I called again at 4:10 to be told they would now come between 6-6:30.

They did not.

I called again at 6:03 to be told no movers were coming and they would now come between 7-9am Wednesday.

I was in tears at this point. I has waited 11 hours for the movers that were supposed to have finished the day before.

They finally arrived at 9am wednesday.

After the job was complete, I paid the drivers the $60 as I was told.

The job was finished, albeit at a very leisurely pace, and the drivers demanded I pay another $480.

The company emailed and called me every second day demanding I pay.

They said they checked the phone conversation recordings and no one told me not to pay. When I asked to hear the recording myself, the denied me as it’s not company policy.

I ended up agreeing to pay them $240 ad they were threatening to pass it on to a debt collected.

They then tried to tell me the reason for the delay was mechanical issues with the truck which is obviously a lie.

NEVER book with these crooks.

Worst experience ever

This company lost a part of my bed frame that supports all the slats. My partner and I pulled the bed apart so we know it was there but it never made it out of the truck.

Customer support is laughable, they support the lies of the dodgy removalist.

Dealing with this company has been a very stressful and infuriating experience.

Steer well clear of CBD Movers.

Horrible and untrustworthy people to deal with

Poor customer service

Trusted them to move my possessions and whilst nice guys they overcharged and damaged my furniture.

They refunded the money but disregarded my damaged furniture .

I would never recommend them ever again.

CBD Movers did a fantastic job. Fast, efficient, friendly service. Looked after our furniture very well. Completed the journey to our new house quickly. Did not complain about difficult access at both ends of the job. Would use them again.

Great work, all care taken, very polite and nothing was damaged , full care taken with every item moved.

Drivers fine, booking team terrible

The drivers were fine.

The booking agents are absolutely terrible.

notified them of my box count, stairs, and other details. they deny knowing any of this.

The sent a truck too small, blaming me for agreeing to it, when i don't know what truck sizes are but i had a 2 bedroom home and i said i had a lot of boxes as i love books.

they got the suburb wrong and had to keep telling them to change it.

They said i rejected a second truck joining us that day, when i actually called to ask for that second truck was told no.

Half my furniture was left behind.

The GROSSLEY under quoted by double.

They tried to charge me a whole new booking fee and a new job saying that the first job weas complete, and now they are emailing saying this is not so. I let them know i had witness who heard it on loud speaker and even the truck drivers would verify and they still deny it all.

they left over 5K of stuff behind and i couldn't go back for it.

If you get Vanessa, hang up she is the worst.

I have taken this to fair trading!
